An introduction to our logo and Huddersfield facts

Our logo is designed to be a simple and striking graphic mark that can stand alone or be used in
conjunction with an interesting fact about Huddersfield or one of its businesses.

You can use it by itself                  …or with a fact

There are two types of fact that can be used, both have an important place in promoting Huddersfield
the town and can also be used by businesses from Huddersfield.

How we will use the facts to promote Huddersfield

As a brand, Huddersfield, the place to make it will use specifically written facts that are quirky, interesting to a general audience, or will be of historic national or international importance.

These facts will be used across the brand’s suite of marketing and promotional communications.

If you wish, you can submit an interesting fact to be used in wider brand campaigns, by emailing it to hello@placetomakeit.co.uk

How you can use the facts to promote your business

When you want to use a fact on your own business literature, you may use an existing Huddersfield, the place to make it fact. However, you can also write facts that are specific to your business or organisation and use those as you wish.

Telling the story

To give our brand mark further impact we can set our logo and facts with an image. The image must be relevant to the fact and have an unclutterd visual area to place the text on, (the text can be white if that helps it stand-out).

The logo has been designed to sit on white and point to the fact. It has also been created to adopt the brand colours of the individual company logo relevant to the fact it sits with.

Doing it your way – examples of templates
(posters and leaflets)

These templates have been designed to make it easy for a supporting organisation to use any photography that they already have to support a strong fact. Simply set any relevant image as a square, flush to the bottom of the design and set the logos and fact in the top white area, with your brand logo in the top right corner.
